In Your Bin July 21st: Pressing Pause!
Every season about this time we press pause on deliveries for one week. This gives us a chance to spend more time in the fields and catch up on weeding; finish up transplants from the greenhouse to the fields; hill potatoes; trellis tomatoes; clear out fields that have been harvested and get them reseeded for crop succession, fall vegetables etc.
So please note on your calendars that there will be: no delivery next Tuesday July 28th. Our 20 week commitment remains and is not affected by this brief pause.
*** Note: With the weather as hot as it is this summer please know that if you would like to leave out a cooler for your CSA delivery we are always happy to put the produce in that for you. This is helpful if you know that you may not be home for a few hours to keep everything cool.
