A word on carrots – in your bin this week are what is known as #2 grade carrots. Chunky, not too pretty but tasty. Due to drought conditions last summer everyone is running out of storage carrots and these are the good old standbys when growers have a tough season. Like the old adage: you can’t judge a carrot by its skin!
