In Your Bin April 21st: Fresh Greens!
In your bin today you will find the wonderful freshness of spring greens! We are topping up our CSA with produce from local farmers for you to enjoy.
When we need more vegetables we head to local farmers and support them and their farms. This way of farming creates a community of farmers that work together to keep food in our communities. Sharing our surplus reduces waste and also generates income.
There is also the sharing of knowledge and immeasurable support when a season gets tough e.g. the drought last year. Supporting a CSA keeps local farmers farming!
In Your Bin:
Regular Share: Radish, Kale, Spinach, Onions, Garlic, Potatoes, Beets
Large Share: Regular Plus Carrots, Cabbage, Rutabaga, Salad Turnip
