In Your Bin September 1st: Canning Season!
Canning Season has begun! Our first wave of pickles – beans and cucumbers – gets us ready for the tomato rush which begins soon. If you have canning in mind let us know and we can arrange to add those veg to a CSA delivery. Remember too that tomatoes freeze well. Simply wash, dry and put in freezer bags. When it is time to use simply take the frozen tomato out and dip in hot water. Skins slip off easily and then you can chop and add to your recipe.

Large Share: Regular Plus: Spicy Salad Mix, Cilantro, Beets, Sweet Peppers, Corn
