In Your Bin September 2nd: A Little Housekeeping!
On Recycling: We currently have an oversupply of the Ontario Fruit baskets and though grateful you would like to send them our way we really can’t make use of them now.
This is what we can and do use, essentially what you receive in your CSA bins from Willo’Wind: egg cartons – best stored open and stacked in each other; green plastic/compostable baskets; light green fibre baskets & the clear plastic bags from our greens. Unfortunately the Maple Syrup and Honey jars cannot be accepted back by the producers and so simply put them out with your recycling.
CSA Dates: The last day of your 20 week Summer CSA will be Tuesday October 28th. News of the Willo’Wind Winter 2025 -2026 CSA will be coming soon!
… and a little farm riddle: What runs around a farm but doesn’t move? (Answer can be found below!)
