In Your Bin July 7th: Farm Riddles!
As farmers we always face riddles as we navigate the complex system of an ecosystem that include insects, birds, coyotes, water tables, weeds, vegetables, humans etc.!
For example: If birds like to eat bugs why don’t birds eat potato bugs and help us out with that? If we have shelter belts for the health of the ecosystem what do we do about the fox hiding out there with an eye on our chickens? Why does equipment break down on the days you need it most?!
